While Kimberly Williams Paisley, Norman Lear and Jill Eikenberry & Michael Tucker have all been stars in the world of television they also understand the issues of aging and caregiving in our nation.

Our CEO Sherri Snelling has had the privilege of interviewing all of them.

She interviewed Kimberly, who starred on TV’s According to Jim, Nashville and Two and a Half Men, for PBS Next Avenue and Forbes on Kimberly’s new book about caring for her mother with dementia.

For her book, A Cast of Caregivers – Celebrity Stories to Help You Prepare to Care, Sherri spoke to Jill Eikenberry & Michael Tucker, stars of ‘80s and ‘90s hit TV show, L.A. Law, about forming a care team to care long distance for Jill’s mother who had dementia.

Sherri also had the privilege of talking to TV icon Norman Lear, who dominated the small screen as writer and showrunner for 1970s classic series such as All In the Family, Sanford and Son, Maude, One Day At a Time, The Jeffersons. Her interview was a master class on longevity – it was better than “must-see TV” – it was “must live with laughter” as a prescription for happiness.

We showcase these interviews for September’s Health Aging Month and in celebration of September 17th The Emmy Awards – enjoy!
