October is National Mental Illness Awareness Week October 6-12 and October 10 is National Depression Screening Day. More than 61 million Americans — 1 in 4 — suffer from mental illness. And the CDC recently reported suicides among boomers has increased 47-59% over the last three years – one reason cited was caring for an older parent.
