February – A President’s Day Look at Caregiving in the East Wing

We know that caregiving crosses all socioeconomic boundaries – from small apartments, suburban homes, rural farms to the White House. As we celebrate President’s Day this month, we turn the spotlight on the caregiving of our nation’s First Ladies. Rosalynn Carter, Nancy Reagan, Barbara and Laura Bush, Hilary Clinton and Michelle Obama – each has been touched by caregiving in their lives and some while they were filling one of the most time-consuming and important roles for our nation: that of First Lady.
